Shared electric mobility has arrived
Enterprise Car Club, in partnership with Trinity College Dublin and ESB, is working to make electric mobility more accessible. Fully electric vehicles will soon be available at four shared hubs across; Galway, Dublin, Waterford, and Donegal.
These hubs give you access to a range of transport options, including electric vehicles and e-bikes. Become a member of Enterprise Car Club and whether you're commuting, running errands, or exploring, these hubs offer a flexible alternative for sustainable travel.
Join & drive electric
The first mobility hub is set to open in Galway on 21st March 2025. This will feature two Enterprise Car Club electric vehicles, along with e-bikes and e-cargo bikes provided by ESB with Moby.
To use the cars at the hubs, you'll need to become a member of Enterprise Car Club.
Simply select your nearest location when registering. Once approved, you can book and unlock vehicles via the app, giving you access to vehicles across Ireland.

Reserve at a Moment's Notice, 24/7
The cars and cars can be reserved via the app, online or by phone in advance or at the last minute. Reservations can be for as little as half an hour, a day, or as long as needed. You can access the vehicles using the app or your access card 24/7 – meaning you don’t have to work around rental branch opening times.
Access On-Street Cars Across Ireland
Enterprise Car Club has plans to extend into numerous towns and cities across Ireland. Currently available in an ever increasing number of towns and cities. Once you've joined wherever new vehicles are located, you’ll have access to them the moment they come on-line, giving you access to the entire Irish fleet as it grows.
Save Money
With Enterprise Car Club you only pay* for the vehicle based on the time and distance you actually need, meaning you have all the convenience of a vehicle without the hassle and expense of owning one. You can rent by the hour or by the day, and for most membership types your rental is capped at a day rate. Car clubs have led to a reduction in the number of cars, freeing up 134 hectares of space*. The positive impact is amplified by the fact that up to 32 private cars* are replaced by each car club vehicle. Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with your leaflet, email or respective promotional collateral.
1. This offer entitles you to receive the stated amount of years’ membership in the Republic of Ireland for the price stated on your leaflet (yearly membership usually €40/yr), plus any free driving credit to the value of that stated on the leaflet or other communication.
2. This offer is valid for all applications submitted by the date labelled within the terms & conditions on the leaflet and on the standard annual membership plan only.
3. To redeem this offer, members must enter the promo code provided (usually the text stated within the orange promo code box on your leaflet or other communication) into the promo code box on the application form.
4. Driving credit applies to rental costs only and is applied once the application has been approved and is to be used within 90 days of receiving such credit unless otherwise stated. Driving credit is not transferrable to any other member of Enterprise Car Club.
5. Unless otherwise specified, this offer does not apply to any additional charges including optional excess waiver, one way hire charges, fuel charges, additional driver and young driver charges, hire of additional items including but not limited to child seats, snow chains, roof racks and navigation guides.
6. This offer may not be used in conjunction with other promotional offers as determined by the Promoter.
7. This offer and these terms and conditions are additional to, and do not replace any terms of the agreement in relation to your rental, which contains important provisions relating to the hire of any vehicle and which shall continue to apply in full for the rental.
8. This offer and these terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by Irish law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of this offer and these terms and conditions in the Irish courts.
9. As a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these terms and conditions, including the paragraph above, affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
